About Attorney Elad Moretzky

Attorney Elad Moretzky is one of the most prominent and experienced lawyers in the fields of real estate and property law in Israel. Attorney Moretzky holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Haifa University, where he was a two-time recipient of the Dean's Award of Excellence, a recipient of Excellence Scholarships, and a member of the editorial board of the Faculty of Law publication Law and Government. As a junior faculty member, he served as a teaching assistant in a variety of property law courses, including Purchase Law, Advanced Purchase Law, and Property Governance in Israel, an area in which he has also lectured at other universities. He additionally served as research assistant to senior faculty members Professor Alexander (Sandy) Kedar and Professor Yehiel Kaplan, and assisted in the writing of several professional books, including A Land in Khaki (recipient of the Tchetchik Prize).
Over the course of his career, Attorney Moretzky has published articles in economics journals and in his area of specialization. A paper he authored also appeared in Planning (Volume 8-1), the magazine of the Israel Planners Association. Upon completing his studies and in parallel to his work as a teaching assistant, Attorney Moretzky began his apprenticeship at Weksler, Bregman & Co., Attorneyes, where he then continued to practice as a senior Attorney for a period of 7 years. He subsequently joined one of Tel Aviv's leading boutique firms specializing in property law. He was soon named partner in the firm and manager of the real estate department. After continuing in this capacity for 11 years, he opened his own private office offering legal services covering the entire spectrum of real estate law and the associated fields of commercial property law.
Attorney Moretzky is further known for his depth, thoroughness, and attention to detail in each and every transaction, large or small; for his professionalism and his excellent personal relationships with his clients; and for his comprehensive knowledge and experience gained from the vast number of property transactions for which he was the lead consultant, applying his broad academic knowledge and deep familiarity with the law and legal decisions.
Among his many areas of specialization in the real estate field are the sale and purchase of residential property (including luxury apartments), representation of entrepreneurs with a wide variety of project missions, complex combination transactions, urban renewal projects (the Tama-38 earthquake resistance standard and the Israeli government's vacate-and-build program), transactions involving the Israel Land Authority and public housing bodies such as Amidar and Halamish, rentals, hotel management, the industrial sector, shopping malls and commercial centers, offices, logistics centers, and the like. Moreover, he has unique expertise in the handling of complex, large-scale financing transactions (including legal accompaniment), for borrowers and financial institutions alike.
